The Work
Farah & Sons provided construction inspection and materials testing for the 2020 rehabilitation of Taxiway G at Indianapolis International Airport for the Indianapolis Airport Authority. As with all airfield work, the project demanded rigorous quality verification to meet FAA and airport authority standards while keeping impacts to airport operations to a minimum.
FGI's role covered field inspection of the taxiway rehabilitation along with coordination of materials testing, verifying that pavement and associated work met the specified performance, density, and quality requirements for airfield infrastructure.
