Passing and auxiliary lanes, HMA overlay with minor structural work, access control, and eight small structure replacements along State Road 32 between SR 75 and I-65.
The Work
Farah & Sons provided construction inspection for improvements to State Road 32 for the Indiana Department of Transportation, extending from 3.69 miles west of SR 75 to 0.5 miles west of I-65. The project added passing and auxiliary lanes, resurfaced the corridor with a hot mix asphalt overlay, performed minor structural work, and improved access control along the route.
The scope also included the replacement of eight small structures along the corridor. FGI's inspection verified that paving, earthwork, drainage, and structural work met INDOT plans, specifications, and quality standards, with full daily documentation and quantity tracking throughout construction.
